About Danckwerth
The laboratory Danckwerth by Julia Danckwerth researches the significance of conceptual fashion in the context of human- machine- and the body. Placed under tension by the demands of new media, velocity, technology and virtuality, the perception of the body is changing. These phenomena are questioning the requirements of designing fashion for the present and the future.
